Course Overview

This course focusses on the nursing skills and knowledge needed to nurse a patient in a one-to-one setting. Your Learning will be influenced by Regulation R2598 and Regulation R387. At the end of the course you will be expected to complete a practical evaluation and write a theoretical test.


Who should attend?

The programme is for nurses who would like to move from ward nursing into a more specialized field. Also for nurses already in High-Care units, but who would like to gain more knowledge.

Entry Requirements

  • Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
  • Valid registration with SANC
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 1 year practical experience
